General Rules

There is complete freedom of entry and exit from the building and the apartment where you rent your room. There is no time restriction. You have access to the door codes and keys to your apartment and room.

The 6 APARTMENTS have between 5 and 8 rooms and all of them have a fully equipped KITCHEN for shared use and at least 2 bathrooms, one for boys and one for girls.

The rooms have different sizes between 10m2 and 20m2, all with windows.

They have a double bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, nightstand and refrigerator, 

All rooms have a radiator with adjustable central heating and a fan in summer (May-June). In some there is hot and cold air conditioning. The showers have hot water through a gas boiler system or electric water heater.

All guests must register for security. If you are invited to stay overnight, an extra payment of 100 euros is made that month (the same amount for one day as for the entire month). The corresponding beds will be added to the invitation.

Students in an apartment must clean their own room and common areas. Once a week, a thorough cleaning of the hallways, kitchen, bathrooms, and terrace will be organized by our employees. It is mandatory to take down the garbage daily in shifts.

Ordinary maintenance of house damage and emergencies is carried out by the office, which remains open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and through a general manager who lives in the building at other times, including at night.

All reservations have a fixed monthly payment of 100 euros for expenses, water, gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning of common areas and maintenance of any damage that occurs in the room or apartment.

Under the Spanish Data Protection Law, there are cameras at the entrance to the apartment and in the kitchen, in order to preserve security and the rules of coexistence in the building.

All reservations will require a contract once you have completed the reservation form and paid for the reservation. This contract reflects the obligations and rights of the room tenant.

There are some basic rules of coexistence that must be respected, included in the contract. Failure to respect these rules may result in immediate suspension of the contract and expulsion from the residence.

EMPADRONAMIENTO is possible (100€) but it is mandatory to deregister once the contract ends. Failure to present this withdrawal will result in the application of the deposit.

MARCET RESIDENCE does not offer meals to residents. Each person staying in the residence has an equipped shared kitchen, with a private closet to store their own dishes and cooking items, spices and foods that do not require cold.

It is not permitted under any circumstances to possess, store or smoke tobacco or legal or illegal substances in the rooms or common areas of MARCET RESIDENCE, with penalty of  immediate expulsion.

Bed linen, pillowcases, towels and winter blankets or duvets must be provided for each resident. The only element provided by MARCET RESIDENCE will be the bedspread.

Check-in and check-out can be done any day of the month and in all cases you pay for entire months from the month of arrival, even if the contracted departure does not complete all the scheduled days of the last month of stay.

Payments are always without exceptions from the 1st to the 5th of each month and can be made by bank transfer, debit or credit card at the MARCET RESIDENCE office or payment in cash. Anyone who requests payment via link for remote payment with a debit or credit card will have a surcharge of 100 euros for bank charges. Delays in payment are penalized with a fixed 35 euros + 10 euros per day of delay.

Emergencies are attended to outside office hours,  (from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday), by staff who spend the night in the same building where the rooms are rented. The attention to these emergencies during these hours will be with sanctioning criteria (bond) if they refer to matters that are strictly the responsibility of the resident, as contemplated in the contract.

Each MARCET RESIDENCE apartment has a washing machine and a drying machine for the free use (without payment of coins or credit) of residents.  There is no service for changing sheets or towels, nor for washing clothes by the MARCET RESIDENCE administration.

MARCET RESIDENCE does not provide tableware, glasses, cups, plates, cutlery, pans, pots and   any element for cooking or serving food. All residents must provide these items and have a private closet in the kitchen to store them if they want under lock and key.
